Definitely drop by (or stay!) The Village Taphouse is a great spot. At least 24 beers on tap + ciders + mixed drinks + non-alcoholic options - something for everyone! Lot’s of great fun nights like Music Bingo, Trivia and seasonal themed events. The bar staff is top notch with great owners :D Definitely drop by!

Great time out Great service and atmosphere, friendly staff. Would definitely come again it was a great place to relax and have fun. Washrooms were super clean as well, which is always welcomed lol. You can get quick service at the bar or relax and be taken care of at the table.

Our favourite place in Bedford Great neighbourhood bar! Staff are friendly, beer selection is the best around, and their specials are fantastic. They always have events going on, and we love being able to support local restaurants in the area by bringing our own food.

I struck up a conversation with the bartender, who proudly told me they showcase more than 30 different local breweries and 5 cideries—all from right here in Nova Scotia! Every pour I tried was top-notch. And if you’re a whisky fan, prepare to be blown away: their exclusive whisky selection spans rare single malts, small-batch blends, and even a few limited-release casks that you won’t find anywhere else in HRM. The vibe is unique and captivating! As I was enjoying my beer flight, the owner himself popped over to say hello—turns out we grew up in the same prairie town.
